Description
The ez barbell close grip curl is a curl variation using a narrow grip on the ez bar. The lifter grips the inner curves of the bar with the hands close together, then curls. The narrow grip biases the long head of the biceps and trains the outer biceps.

EZ Barbell Close Grip Curl Instructions
- Stand tall holding an ez curl bar with hands on the inner curves close together.
- Set the elbows tight against the sides.
- Brace your core and keep the chest tall.
- Curl the bar up toward the chest by bending the elbows.
- Keep the elbows fixed at the sides throughout.
- Continue curling until the bar reaches the upper chest.
- Squeeze the biceps hard at the top.
- Lower the bar back down with control.
