Description

The EZ bar up down twist is a standing oblique builder that uses an EZ curl bar held overhead. The lifter twists from side to side while alternating arm positions up and down. It trains the obliques and shoulder stability.

EZ Bar Up Down Twist Instructions

  1. Stand with the feet shoulder width apart.
  2. Hold an EZ curl bar overhead with a wide grip.
  3. Brace your core and keep the back straight.
  4. Lower the bar to one side as you twist the torso.
  5. Bring it back overhead.
  6. Lower the bar to the opposite side as you twist back.
  7. Keep the core tight throughout.
  8. Continue twisting side to side.
