Description
The floor fly with towels is a sliding chest fly using small towels on a smooth floor. The lifter starts in a high plank with hands on towels, then slides the hands out wide and back together. The sliding motion creates a brutal chest fly with bodyweight.
Equipment Required
Floor Fly with Towels Instructions
- Place a small towel under each hand on a smooth floor.
- Begin in a high plank position with hands under shoulders.
- Brace your core and keep the body in a straight line.
- Slide both hands out wide to the sides at the same time.
- Continue sliding until the chest lowers toward the floor.
- Stop with the arms in a wide fly position.
- Squeeze the chest to slide the hands back together.
- Return to the start at the top.
