- Stand tall holding a dumbbell in one hand at shoulder level.
- Set the palm facing in with the dumbbell parallel to the body.
- Plant your feet at shoulder-width and brace your core.
- Press the dumbbell straight up overhead.
- Keep the palm facing in throughout the press.
- Lock out at the top with the dumbbell over your shoulder.
- Resist any side lean from the load.
- Lower the dumbbell back to shoulder level. Complete reps and switch.
