Description
The dumbbell incline close grip press variation is performed pressing two dumbbells together throughout the rep on an incline bench. The dumbbells stay touching as you press, forcing the inner upper pec and triceps to work harder. It is a strong choice for inner upper chest development.

Dumbbell Incline Close Grip Press Variation Instructions
- Set a bench to a 30 to 45 degree incline.
- Lie back with a dumbbell in each hand pressed together over your chest.
- Hold both dumbbells with palms facing each other (neutral grip).
- Press the dumbbells together hard and keep them touching throughout.
- Brace your core and pin your shoulders to the bench.
- Lower the dumbbells together down to your upper chest.
- Press the dumbbells back up while keeping them pressed together.
- Squeeze the inner chest at the top.
