Description

The elbow arm circles are a shoulder mobility warm-up where the fingertips are placed on the shoulders and the elbows circle in a wide arc. The bent-arm circles open up the shoulders and warm up the rotator cuff for upper body training.

Elbow Arm Circles Instructions

  1. Stand tall with feet at hip-width.
  2. Place your fingertips on top of each shoulder.
  3. Keep the arms bent at the elbows.
  4. Brace your core and keep your chest up.
  5. Begin circling the elbows forward in big arcs.
  6. Reach the elbows up high and bring them down low.
  7. Continue several circles in one direction.
  8. Reverse the direction and circle the elbows backward.
