Description
The cable standing wrist roll is a forearm-focused exercise where you roll the rope up by alternating wrist flexions while standing in front of a cable pulley. The cable provides constant tension throughout the roll. It is a brutal grip and forearm builder used by climbers, grapplers, and lifters chasing thicker forearms.
Equipment Required
Cable Standing Wrist Roll Instructions
- Attach a single rope handle to a high or mid cable pulley.
- Stand in front of the cable with arms extended in front of you.
- Grab the rope with both hands, palms down.
- Keep your arms straight and elbows locked.
- Roll the rope up by alternating wrist flexions.
- Continue rolling until the rope is fully wound up.
- Reverse the motion to roll the rope back down with control.
- Repeat for time or for a set number of full rolls.
