Description
The stick pass around stretch (or shoulder dislocate) is a classic shoulder mobility move. The lifter grips a PVC stick wider than the shoulders and passes it from in front of the body up and over the head to behind the body. It opens the shoulders and chest.
Equipment Required
Stick Pass Around Stretch Instructions
- Stand tall holding a PVC stick with a wide overhand grip.
- Hold the stick at hip height in front.
- Brace your core and keep the chest tall.
- Lift the stick up and over the head with arms straight.
- Continue the motion until the stick is behind the body at hip height.
- Pause briefly behind the body.
- Reverse the motion bringing the stick back overhead and to the front.
- Continue the slow pass around motion.
