Description
The standing calf raise circle is a calf raise variation where the lifter rises up onto the toes and rotates the ankles in a slow circle at the top. The motion loads the calves through a wider range and works the small ankle stabilizers at the same time.

Standing Calf Raise Circle Instructions
- Stand tall with feet hip-width apart.
- Brace your core and keep your chest up.
- Press up onto the balls of both feet.
- Hold the high position with weight balanced on the toes.
- Slowly rotate both ankles in a circular motion outward.
- Continue circling for several rotations at the top.
- Reverse direction and circle the ankles inward.
- Lower the heels back to the floor with control.
