- Stand with the feet wider than shoulder width.
- Turn the toes out to roughly 45 degrees.
- Brace the core and keep the chest up.
- Lower into a deep sumo squat.
- Reach both arms straight up overhead.
- Press the elbows back to open the chest.
- Use the elbows to gently push the knees out.
- Hold the position for the desired duration.
