Description
The side lying feet raise is a side lying core and glute medius move. The lifter lies on the side with legs straight and stacked, then lifts both feet up off the floor together. The side bent motion engages the obliques and the lift activates the glute medius.
Equipment Required
Side Lying Feet Raise Instructions
- Lie on your side with legs straight and stacked.
- Set the bottom arm under the head for support.
- Place the top hand on the hip.
- Brace your core hard.
- Lift both feet up off the floor together.
- Continue lifting until the legs are at an angle to the floor.
- Squeeze the obliques and glute medius at the top.
- Lower with control. Complete reps and switch sides.
