Description

The roll ball diaphragm is a self myofascial release drill for the breathing muscles. Pressing a small ball under the rib cage targets the diaphragm and helps release tension that limits deep breathing.

Roll Ball Diaphragm Instructions

  1. Lie on the floor face down.
  2. Place a small massage ball just below the bottom rib.
  3. Brace the upper body on the forearms.
  4. Keep the body relaxed over the ball.
  5. Take slow deep breaths into the belly.
  6. Allow the diaphragm to press into the ball.
  7. Move the ball gently along the lower ribs.
  8. Continue for the working time.
