Description

The power sled drag is a sled-pulling drill performed walking backward. The lifter attaches a strap or harness to a weighted sled and walks backward dragging the sled. The backward walk loads the quads hard and builds conditioning.

Power Sled Drag Instructions

  1. Attach a strap or harness to a weighted sled.
  2. Hold the strap handles or wear the harness.
  3. Face away from the sled with feet shoulder-width.
  4. Brace your core and lean back slightly.
  5. Walk backward with controlled steps.
  6. Drive through the heels and pull the sled.
  7. Continue walking backward for the working distance.
  8. Keep the back tall and chest up throughout.
