Lying Shoulder Sweep
Description
The lying shoulder sweep is a shoulder mobility drill performed on the back. The lifter sweeps the arms along the floor from the sides up overhead and back down in a snow angel motion. The move opens the shoulders and chest. It is a key mobility warm-up.
Equipment Required
Lying Shoulder Sweep Instructions
- Lie flat on your back on the floor.
- Extend the arms straight out to the sides on the floor.
- Set the palms facing up.
- Brace your core lightly.
- Sweep both arms along the floor up overhead.
- Reach the hands together overhead.
- Sweep the arms back down to the sides along the floor.
- Continue the smooth sweeping motion.
