Description
The leg assisted ring pull up is a regression of the strict pull up using rings set low. The lifter grips the rings overhead and uses the legs on the floor to assist the upward pull. The ring grip allows natural rotation while the legs scale the load.

- Set gymnastic rings just out of reach overhead from a seated position.
- Sit under the rings and grip them overhead.
- Place the feet flat on the floor in front.
- Brace your core and pinch the shoulder blades.
- Pull the chest up toward the rings using the legs to assist.
- Bend the elbows and rotate the wrists naturally as you pull.
- Squeeze the lats hard at the top.
- Lower back down with control to the start.
