Description

The crawl to crab is a primal movement combo that transitions between a bear crawl and a crab walk. The lifter starts in a bear crawl position then rotates the body over to a crab walk position. The transition trains coordination, core, and full body strength.

Equipment Required

Crawl to Crab Instructions

  1. Start in a bear crawl position with hands and feet on the floor.
  2. Set the knees just off the floor and the back flat.
  3. Brace your core hard.
  4. Lift one hand and the opposite foot off the floor.
  5. Rotate the hips up and over to the other side.
  6. Plant the hand and foot in a crab walk position with belly facing up.
  7. Drive the hips up high in the crab position.
  8. Reverse the rotation back to bear crawl. Continue alternating.
