Description
The bottle weighted straight legs deadlift is a stiff legged deadlift variation using water bottles for at-home training. The lifter holds bottles in each hand and hinges at the hips with the legs straight. The straight leg position loads the hamstrings hard.

Bottle Weighted Straight Legs Deadlift Instructions
- Hold a filled water bottle in each hand at the sides.
- Stand tall with feet hip width apart.
- Set a slight soft bend in the knees.
- Brace your core and set the chest tall.
- Hinge forward at the hips with a flat back.
- Lower the bottles down the front of the legs.
- Continue until you feel a strong stretch in the hamstrings.
- Drive the hips forward to stand back up squeezing the glutes.
