  1. Stand tall holding a medicine ball with both hands at the hips.
  2. Brace your core and set the feet hip width.
  3. Step forward with one leg into a long lunge.
  4. Lower until the back knee nearly touches the floor.
  5. At the same time curl the medicine ball up to the chest.
  6. Squeeze the biceps at the top of the curl.
  7. Push back through the front heel to standing while lowering the ball.
  8. Alternate legs each rep.
