  1. Stand tall with feet hip width apart and arms relaxed at your sides.
  2. Take a quick step forward with one foot, then the other.
  3. Bring the lead foot back and follow with the other foot.
  4. Stay light on the balls of your feet throughout.
  5. Pump the arms in opposition to the steps.
  6. Keep a steady brisk pace without bouncing too high.
  7. Maintain a tall posture and braced core.
  8. Continue the back and forth pattern for the desired duration.
