X Drill
Description
The X drill is an agility drill performed by running an X-shaped pattern between four cones placed in a square. You sprint diagonally to one corner, then back to start, then to the other diagonal corner, alternating directions. The drill builds agility, lateral speed, and cardio for athletic conditioning.

X Drill Instructions
- Set up four cones in a square pattern about 5 yards apart.
- Stand at one cone (the starting cone).
- Brace your core and stay light on your feet.
- Sprint diagonally across the square to the opposite cone.
- Touch the cone with your hand and turn around.
- Sprint diagonally back to the starting cone.
- Sprint laterally to the adjacent cone.
- Continue running the X pattern at high speed.
