Description

The weighted round arm is a shoulder endurance move performed with light dumbbells. The lifter holds the weights with arms extended out to the sides and circles them forward and back. The slow burn builds strong shoulder endurance and stability.

Weighted Round Arm Instructions

  1. Stand tall holding a light dumbbell in each hand.
  2. Lift the arms out to the sides at shoulder height.
  3. Brace your core and keep the chest tall.
  4. Begin circling the arms forward in small circles.
  5. Gradually grow the circles as you continue.
  6. After several circles, reverse direction and circle backward.
  7. Keep the arms at shoulder height the entire time.
  8. Continue circling for the duration.
