  1. Lie on the back with the knees bent and feet flat.
  2. Place a massage ball next to the lumbar spine.
  3. Brace the core and keep the head supported.
  4. Lift the hips slightly to load the ball.
  5. Shift the body diagonally over the ball.
  6. Pause on tender spots for several breaths.
  7. Move the ball along the lumbar erectors.
  8. Continue for the working time then switch sides.
