  1. Anchor a resistance band low to a sturdy point.
  2. Loop the other end across the upper back behind the neck.
  3. Set up on a 45 degree hyperextension bench.
  4. Hook the heels under the foot pads and the hips against the pad.
  5. Brace your core and start with the torso angled down.
  6. Extend the hips lifting the torso to a straight line with the body.
  7. Squeeze the glutes hard at the top.
  8. Lower the torso back down with control.
