  1. Lie face down on a flat bench with the hips at the edge.
  2. Hold the bench with both hands for stability.
  3. Let the legs hang straight down off the end of the bench.
  4. Brace your core and squeeze the glutes.
  5. Lift the straight legs up behind the body.
  6. Continue lifting until the legs are parallel to the floor or higher.
  7. Squeeze the glutes hard at the top.
  8. Lower the legs back down with control.
