Description
The EZ bar seated close grip shoulder press is a seated overhead press done with a close grip on an EZ curl bar. The narrow grip shifts focus to the triceps while still loading the shoulders. It is a strong shoulder and tricep combo move.
Equipment Required
EZ Bar Seated CG Shoulder Press Instructions
- Sit upright on a bench with back support.
- Hold an EZ curl bar with a close grip at chest height.
- Brace your core and keep the back against the support.
- Press the bar straight up overhead.
- Lock out the elbows at the top.
- Squeeze the shoulders and triceps hard.
- Lower the bar with control to the chest.
- Continue for the working set.
