Description
The ez bar front twist raise is a front raise variation with a wrist twist. The lifter starts with the bar at the thighs in a pronated grip then lifts it up while rotating the wrists to a neutral grip. The rotation adds forearm engagement to the delt raise.
Equipment Required
EZ Bar Front Twist Raise Instructions
- Stand tall with an ez curl bar in front of the thighs.
- Grip the bar with a pronated overhand grip on the inner curves.
- Brace your core and set the chest tall.
- Keep the elbows slightly bent throughout.
- Raise the bar straight up in front while rotating the wrists.
- Finish with the bar at shoulder height with palms facing each other.
- Pause briefly at the top.
- Lower the bar back down rotating the wrists back to pronated.
