  1. Lie on a decline bench with feet hooked under the pads.
  2. Hold a barbell over your chest with a grip wider than shoulder-width.
  3. Use a pronated grip with palms facing forward.
  4. Brace your core and keep your back against the bench.
  5. Maintain a slight bend in the elbows throughout.
  6. Lower the bar back behind your head in an arc.
  7. Continue until you feel a deep lat and chest stretch.
  8. Pull the bar back over your chest using the lats.
