  1. Stand tall holding a barbell with both hands close together at hip width.
  2. Set the elbows tight against the sides.
  3. Brace your core and keep the chest tall.
  4. Curl the barbell up toward the chest by bending the elbows.
  5. Keep the elbows fixed at the sides throughout.
  6. Continue curling until the bar reaches the upper chest.
  7. Squeeze the biceps hard at the top.
  8. Lower the bar back down with control.
