Equipment Required

Trap Bar Deadlift from Deficit Instructions

  1. Set a low platform or plates and stand on them.
  2. Position a loaded trap bar around you.
  3. Squat down inside the trap bar and grip the handles.
  4. Brace your core and set a flat back.
  5. Drive through the legs to lift the bar off the floor.
  6. Stand up tall locking out the hips.
  7. Squeeze the glutes hard at the top.
  8. Lower the bar back to the floor with control.
