  1. Lie on one side with the bottom arm extended overhead.
  2. Place a massage ball under the outer back near the armpit.
  3. Stack the legs for balance.
  4. Brace the body on the bottom forearm.
  5. Keep the upper body relaxed over the ball.
  6. Roll the lat slowly over the ball.
  7. Pause on tender spots for several breaths.
  8. Cover from armpit to ribs then switch sides.
