Peacock Pose Mayurasana Instructions

  1. Kneel down and place the hands flat on the floor with fingers pointing back.
  2. Bend the elbows and bring them together.
  3. Press the elbows into your abdomen below the ribs.
  4. Lean the chest forward over the hands.
  5. Brace your core hard.
  6. Shift the weight forward and lift the legs off the floor.
  7. Hold the body horizontal in a straight line.
  8. Lower the legs back down with control.
