Description
The standing tibialis anterior stretch is a targeted stretch for the tibialis anterior on the front of the shin. The lifter points one foot back behind the body with the top of the foot pressing into the floor. The press stretches the shin muscle.

Standing Tibialis Anterior Stretch Instructions
- Stand tall near a wall for support.
- Step one foot back behind the body.
- Point the toes of the back foot down to the floor.
- Place the top of the back foot flat on the floor.
- Brace your core and keep the chest tall.
- Press the top of the foot down into the floor.
- Feel the stretch in the front of the shin.
- Hold with steady breath. Switch sides and repeat.
