Kneeling T Spine Mobility
Description
The kneeling T spine mobility is a thoracic spine rotation drill done from a kneeling position. The mover rotates the upper back from one side to the other while keeping the hips square. It is useful for posture and rotation.
Equipment Required
Kneeling T Spine Mobility Instructions
- Kneel on a soft mat with the hips down on the heels.
- Place one hand behind the head with the elbow flared.
- Place the other hand on the floor in front.
- Brace your core and keep the hips square.
- Rotate the upper back to bring the elbow toward the ceiling.
- Open the chest and follow the elbow with the eyes.
- Reverse the rotation to bring the elbow toward the opposite hand.
- Finish all reps then switch sides.
