  1. Set a flat bench in front of where you will lie.
  2. Place a loaded barbell across the hips.
  3. Lie back on the floor with the legs bent at 90 degrees.
  4. Set both feet on top of the bench.
  5. Hold the barbell in place with both hands.
  6. Brace your core and squeeze the glutes.
  7. Drive through the heels to lift the hips up.
  8. Squeeze the glutes hard at the top. Lower with control.
